RIDES
“B” Ride
The ‘B’ ride is normally +/- 25 miles. The average speed of this ride depends on the Rider’s ability, but we try to target a minimum pace of 14 to 15 mph. The Ride will typically have 3 stops along the way to regroup and determine if changes need to be made to distance or pace. No one will get left behind. The Ride will often follow the same Coastal route each week.
“B+” Ride
The “B+” Ride is typically 30 – 35 miles in length, with a target average pace of 16 – 17+ mph.
The ride often runs along the Maine Coast through Kennebunkport to Cape Porpoise, Fortunes Rocks and Biddeford Pool, looping back to the starting point. Ride leaders may also choose to trail one of the faster rides - though at a slower pace.
“A” Ride
The “A-” Ride will run between 35 – 40 miles. Average speed for this ride targets 18 – 19+ mph.
There are multiple routes. We will work to keep riders together by keeping pulls short, rotating to the back, keeping an eye out for riders off the back, and having stops for regrouping.
“A+” Ride
The “A+” ride is an open ride where the route, distance and speed will decided by the riders before the ride. The ride will generally be around 35 – 40 miles at 20+ mph
